Update - Training ClassesWorking trialsTBA.
Wednesday classesThe first Wednesday of the month training will be held at Poston mills caravan site Peterchurch. HR2 0SF at 12.45pm It's further on past Vowchurch 2nd part of entrance, park up and we will be there in a well fenced off field. The remainder of the month the training will take place at the club ground.
Thursday ClassesThere are two classes on thursdays - beginners at 6.30pm and others at 7.30pm.
Saturday TrainingNothing at Present.

New Puppy ClassesNew Puppy Classes with Sue B start next Thursday 1st July at 6:30 for ten weeks, If you are interested contact Sue B on 01432 275542 or 07771158089. Cost of the ten weeks is £30 plus £5 club fee for insurance purposes if not a GV member already.
Good Citizen Dog Scheme (GCDS)The club operates the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme (GCDS). This is a progressive, assessed, award scheme recognized nationally. Awards include Puppy Foundation, Bronze, Silver and Gold.CompetitionsInternal club competitions are held twice a year. Obedience competitions are held across the country throughout the year.
TrainingPuppyStarting age approx 14 weeks to approx 5 months. Eight week course. Record of vaccinations required. Kennel Club Puppy Foundation course syllabus. The training will give the owner the ability to train their puppy so that the puppy can grow into a healthy, well behaved and social dog. General For all dogs, any age, any level. This training works with the owner to ensure good handling and understanding of the dog in basic obedience (includes dog behaviour problems). Intermediate For those that have got to a good standard of general obedience. Aimed at giving you and your dog working/competing training to a high level. Acceptance is by assessment only. |
